Got a chance to drive a 2001 360 yesterday for a couple of hours. One thing I noticed is that the brake pedal make a hydraulic noise when pressed. Is this normal?

    Mine doesn't

If you were looking to but it I would use a scan tool to check for ABS codes. Or better yet have a dealer do a PPI

If you have the chance to drive it again, drop in, I will get someone to take a quick look/listen for the noise.

Are you talking about that "whoosh" noise when you are stopped and press it? If so, I'm thinking it's normal.

Hydraulic noise would not be normal but what you heard was almost certainly the vacuum assistance (common to almost all cars) and is perfectly normal.
