I was wondering if it's possible for someone like me who has hands on capability to change the pads on my 360 and if so where can I find how-to instructions to accomplish this or can anyone guide me thru it. Also, what type of pads are recommended for street use and some occasional track driving. I really enjoy working on my car and get a kick whenever I can do something myself. I'm not looking to save any money, just thrilled to work on my toy. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Pretty easy to do. Just push the pins through the caliper toward the center of the car, and then remove them. I used a punch and a hammer. Then remove the spring, spread the pads to push in the pistons, remove and replace one pad at a time, and then reverse. On the fronts you'll have to disconnect the wear sensor if you're not going back to stock pads. It unplugs near the shock, and has a small bracket you have to remove.

Thanks for the reply, David. Do I have to remove the calipers or do I do this operation with them in place? Also do I have to bleed any brake fluid out of the lines or remove fluid from the reservoir in order to push the pistons back without spilling oil out of the reservoir(I read this on a thread concerning pad changing on a 348)? Thanks again for the help!
    Alex.

Do a search, there was an excellent thread in the 360/430 section not long ago covering this topic. I have switched to the Porterfield R4 pads, you can buy them from Daniel at Ricambi for half the cost of the OEM pads. You will just need to move and secure the wear sensor, not a big deal. The R4 pads have done well for me on the track with little to no fade, however, it is recommended that you use the race pad which is the R4S, they are a little noisey for daily driving so just change them back out when done at the track. The R4 make zero noise and like I said are half the cost of the OEM.

    Hope this helps.

^ Should be other way around. R4 = race compound. R4S = street compound. Both are great pads :) Robert is absolutely correct.. the race pads (R4) are not intended for daily street use. They don't build heat quickly enough, and you might be surprised first-thing-in-the-morning when your brakes don't stop adequately at Starbucks.

I get all my brakes from Mr D at Ricambi, All my clients are super happy, no squeak, no noise , great stopping feel and power and a much better value than stock brake pads.
    +100% recommendation.

The Porterfield street pads have low dust to keep the wheels clean. The stock pads put out so much dust that the wheels get darker after just one drive.

The Porterfield pads sound very interesting but what type of pads come originally in the 360 and are there aftermarket pads that will accomodate the wear sensors in the front pads? I will definitely buy my pads from Ricambi and thanks for all the advice guys!!
