    Trying to determine if my 360 has the new updated variators fitted or not, I have the belts exposed and there is no VD stamped on the heads, there is no green paint mark on the end of the variators, there are some numbers on one of the variators A998.

    Ask a franchise to check on their central database if the recall was done - other advice concentrated in the 360 section

    The only code that matters is a single number followed by a single letter. The number is the year of manufacture. 3 is 03, 4 is 04 etc. A is January, B is February etc.


    Also very important is if it has an updated left bank tensioner. There is no code to determine that and needs to be done visually based on a subtle design change.
