One of the capote flaps on my 360 spider is damaged. I need to remove it, build up the broken bit, paint it and refit it. Has anyone removed one of these before? Do I need to remove the whole mechanism or is it possible to remove and reinstall the flap only?

(It got damaged when the clip holding the cable onto the motor sprung off and shot the timing, causing a bit of a collision)

I have been waiting for a reply, because one of my flaps is broken also. I bought it that way, but want to have it taken care of. A new one is $900, and you still would need to take off the old one. I'll keep watching. We can't be the only two who are going through this. Good luck.

I saw used ones out of the UK for 240 pounds, much cheaper and would be fine

Yes, the price of a new one made my eyes water. I have tried to find a used one from a UK breaker but no luck.

If all else fails I guess I'll just have to get stuck into it.
