Since my 360 center console has a large gouge on the drivers side from the seat belt latch rubbing against it (previous ownership issue), I decided to replace it. Three thousand dollars????? OUCH!!! Premier in Culver City to the rescue. If you send yours to them, they will fix and repaint it and send it back to you in 2-3 days. They initially said around 200 bucks, but don't quote me on that until I get the bill. They were the only shop I talked to that mentioned the difference between the older model 360 finish (rough) and the newer model finish (smooth, a bit darker). That sold me.

I sent it off this morning, will post updates when I get it back.

So is yours the older or newer? I've always been amused at the difference between the older (rough) and and newer (smooth) models. Since we make these parts in carbon fiber, I've been "up close and personal" with several of the stock parts. I's hazard a guess that the older ones are sandblasted and the newer ones are painted. True?

Well it certainly looks blasted at first sight. However, you can see how the base material is much darker when looking at this deep gouge that had formed.
Premier says they spray these things all the time.

I called Premier this morning. Recall that I had overnighted my center console to them on Monday morning. They said it was all done, it looks perfect, and they were wrapping it up as we spoke and they were overnighting it to my house today. I have tomorrow off (with no plans) and will be spending the afternoon reinstalling. If it looks good like they say, I will be giving these folks a BIG thumbs up.

Is this the same Premier that makes the 360 skid plates?

    This one?

Mike, how easy/difficult was it to remove the interior pieces that you had re-done?

This Premier is in Culver City. They are a body/paint shop, one of the best I am told. As I had mentioned earlier, they were the only ones I talked to that knew the difference between the old (rough) finish and the new (smooth) finish. I opted for the stock, older, rough finish. It will look the same except for the gouge taken away.

I would say it is straightforward to take the center console out. Then again, I can yank the engine out of my car (not the 4RE) and replace it in one day, by myself. If anyone does not have access to a nearby mechanic and needs help, PM me.

I got my center console back this morning, and it is absolutely perfect. Many of you already know that if you look up the word "picky" in the dictionary, my face is printed there. But this thing is phenomenal. The finish is perfect. The color is perfect. The texture is perfect. Cost: $181.00
    Highly recommended.
