360 Challenge Stradale F1 fluid

    Does anyone know what kind of fluid for F1 hydraulic fluid?

    The transaxle uses 75W-90 transmission oil/fluid, while the F1 system uses a special hydraulic fluid that is essentially synthetic automatic transmission fluid. Naturally, there are two separate ways to check fluid level. Go to ferraridatabase.com and download a free workshop manual for your 360 and it will show you how to check both. Be advised Ricambi sells the Tutela CS Speed for use in the 360 F1 system

    You are in the wrong forum, understandable on your first post. The CS is in the 360/F430 forum above.

    Affirmative, the F1 system in the CS calls for a hydraulic fluid, different from the transaxle fluid/oil. Shell Donax TX is recommended, although it is difficult to find in the States. It is a synthetic automatic transmission fluid, specs shown below. Any good synthetic automatic transmission fluid should work, like Valvoline Dexron VI ATF, specs also below.
