That project is already awsome and thus need an awsome one off name.

If you can find someone to waterjet that same font - go with:

Or

2: Modena Speciale

 

Well it's not nothing for nothing because it cost best part of £1000. It's lasted 18 months now and I can still start the car after leaving it a week off the tender.

Regarding the price of cells, yes they can be cheap, but it is the BMS that is the critical, and expensive part. Without a good BMS, the cells won't last...
That's why the good batteries cost that much and why OEMs like McLaren will use the complete package which inevitably costs more.

 

Very impressive. I used to love doing projects like this, but I just don't have the patience anymore. So, I have to live vicariously through these projects.

Try changing out the Throttle body to the 430/599/italia. I have Steve's CS ECU mapping. The bigger TB makes the car feel significantly more responsive and screams to 9000 Rpm. I can send you my TB for you to test out with Steves ECU fine tuning.

 

Did you tune the car for the 430 throttle bodys? Or is this something that can be added to mases cs tune?

No. You will need Steve's CS mapping for it to wor lol properly.

 

Randy, did you also use the F430's throttle bodies or just the F430/CS MAFs? If you added F430 TBs, did they fit on the 360's intake plenum?

 

No it will not fit unless you insert an intake sleeve. Cut to size then use clamps to secure TB.

This is what I figured and instead of the 360's TB being the restrictor for the larger diametered F430/CS MAFs, now the bottle neck will be the intake plenum's opening since the F430 TB are the same diameter as the F430/CS MAFs.

 

CS MAF's and 430 MAF's are same part number
