I just had the R134 refrigerant evacuated and filled in my 2000 360. The tech noticed the driver's side cooling fan didn't come on. I've found a few threads here that talk about this. One member said that it is activated secondarily to the passenger side (which does come on immediately).

Does anyone know at what water temp the driver's side fan should activate? And is it a single-speed, or two-speed fan?

Another member said he checked the fuse and it was fine. I'd like to check the fuse for it. Is there a fuse for only the driver's side cooling fan? If so, where is it located (or colocated with what other fuses)?

I'm going to keep my eye on the water temp. I have not seen it go over 195 degrees, but I have not been watching it specifically.

One more question. Is the AC radiator located with passenger-side cooling fan? I can't tell from this diagram - https://www.ricambiamerica.com/car-diagrams/ferrari/v6-v8/360-group/360-modena/air-conditioning-system.html

    Thanks in advance!

the A/C radiator is located with the Right hand side cooling fan.

by Right hand, I mean, if you are standing behind the car facing where the car should move forward, your Right hand is the car's Right hand.

Excellent! That RH fan is working just fine. Also, I found the fuse for the LH fan on page 4.19 of the Owners Manual. There are separate LH and RH radiator fan fuses.

There’s an extensive message thread on this issue still in progress here on a right hand drive car:

The thermoswitch on the RH radiator partly controls the LH fan. Temperatures shown in Celsius.

The LH fan comes on at 97C and turns off at 92C. It’s a single speed fan.

    It has its own relay.

97C is 206.6F. I’m not sure how close engine/gauge temperature is to radiator temperature. Radiator temperature may be cooler, so your gauge temperature may have to go higher than 206.6F to trigger the LH fan.

The overheat warning comes on at 120F, so you still have a way to go before you reach a critical temperature.

Thanks! Great info and diagram. You say "The overheat warning comes on at 120F". Do you mean 220F?
