Can you please post some pics of 360 coupes with challenge wheels. Furthermore, can I use regular bolts instead of titanium bolts (autogallery said,"no").
They said the regular bolts can't handle the load.

I am trying to decide between Novitec or challenge????
I found alot of novitec pics but not 360 w/ chal. wheels
    thank you in advance.

When I originally fitted OEM 19" CS wheels on my '00 360 I used standard lugs with no issues. I later switched as the Ti bolts IMO not only look better but seat deeper. Not understanding Autogallery's comment, 'can't handle the load' Sorry, no pics.

I think they meant becuse it doesn't seat deep enough it might get loose or crack or come off. They don't even sell the wheels without the ti bolts.
I think this pic is with regular bolts

Easy Arthur, you just got your training wheels. Somoene is misleading you. They are available seperately. And the above picture shows standard lug bolts w/OEM 19" Challenge wheels.

Drew, how about these, they look like regular bolts.
I know you can order them separatley, but they do not recommend it.

I heard you can use magnisium bolts. but the price is close to ti bolts.

Don't believe everything you hear from sales people trying to sell over priced titanium lug bolt. Of course the stock bolts can handle the load. That's the most stupid thing I've ever heard.

BTW, here is a shot of my car with titanium lug bolts from www.poggipolini.it

    http://www.poggipolini.it/default.php?t=site&pgid=14

The after market versions have a torx head pattern, which is kind of cool.

    Correct, they are standard lugs.
Didn't you state in your last post, "They don't even sell the wheels without the ti bolts."
As Ray said, Don't believe everything you hear from sales people.

The titanium bolts skyrocketed in price from Ferrari about 3 months ago -- but to be frank, Ferrari was previously underpriced vis-a-vis the raw titanium market (which has also gone nuts in the past 18 months). Bolts that used to be about $50/ea are now nearly $100/ea.

The bolts *are* available as a separate item, and do not need to be purchased with the CS wheels. Ferrari branded Ti bolts can only be purchased in lots of 20, and the correct part number is 70001200:

The wheels are also available separately as 195392 and 195393. At Ricambi, we often bundle everything together into a single package and ship for free anywhere in the U.S. (FedEx ground):

Grasshopper, I'll give yea a little tip. First, Russells wheels physically look like 18's and if you look really, really close on the inner portion of the wheel you can see in red letters, BBS which is standard on the OEM 18" Challenge wheel.

looks like someone isn't caught up with the Kung Fu lingo...took offense...woops :) these 'challenge' designs look great--a la CK series, but i think the race wheels used on ALMS cars look even more wicked...ie, the ones the Porsche RS Spyders roll on...

Seems to me that since you came on board you've been making quite a few unqualified statements. We already have enough misinformation.

Now to answer your question, the name 'Grasshopper' was from the weekly TV show, Kung Fu and refered to the lead David Carradene as, Young Grasshopper or the young student.

Next time you would like me to answer your question, try it without the derogatory remarks.

It means wax on wax off grasshoppa, you not ready yet. Much to learn you have young padwan.

Arthur please dont take offense, by now you should know that you can't get along with everybody. Especially not on a car blog. Just roll with the punches. Bob and weave and stick it to him in some other thread.

FYI Drew is actually a very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly guy. Sounds like you are too.
