Drove my CS this last weekend. First real cold snap here in Texas. Went to breakfast on Sat. with my wife. The "check suspension light" came on when I drove off in 1st gear. At first I thought it was a low tire pressure warning light. After breakfast the light was off and remained off for the remainder of the day...as temps rose. Drove about a 100 miles on Sat. Tonight (Thurs.) went to dinner. Temps in the high 30's. Light came on again. Drove the car awhile...pulled over and restarted it and the warning went out. Temps dropped by 10 pm and I couldn't clear the light on the way home. The car behaved normal in terms of ride and road handling, both in Race and normal modes. Is this a temp dependent problem with the hydraulics in the suspension system? When we get a warm day, I'll drive the car again to see if this warning light comes on again. Any help from the technical gurus would be appreciated.

My 360 6-speed had this same problem for a few months. It just kept getting worst, light came on 20 minutes after re-starting. The diagnostic computer indicated a faulty front vertical speed sensor. Had it replaced 2 weeks ago and never seen the warning light again. The ride is a lot stiffer when in "normal" mode comparing to before. maybe the faulty sensor was affecting the normal mode stability.

Same here. Mine was the rear vertical sensor. (There are only two) I don't have the Ferrari scanner, so I had to have them scan it for me. They said the heat from the engine messes this one up. The part was about $300 and I just installed it myself. Basically just a plug in and attachment with one 6mm bolt.

I talked to James at Norwood. Just as you two have suggested...sensor gone bad. No detriment to the suspension system, just needs to be replaced. Thanks for the feedback. Best, AC
