    Theres alot of talk about then ceramic carbon discs wearing out following hard trackdays..

    Crap!!!!!!! or is there some truth in this???? I also here you need to mortgage yr house again for a new set???

    There are quite a few threads on this subject. The long and the short of it is that Carbon/Ceramic disc technology is not yet ready for the rigors of production vehicles. Porsche and Ferrari are both having problems and it is a case of the marketing guys controlling the engineering people.

    Again..sad but true, another reason why the 360's will end up being very cheap to buy in the not so distant future.

    Uh, that's not "the long and the short" of the threads I've read...

    Porsche's PCCBs have indeed been problematic in track use.

    Ferrari's carbon-ceramic brakes do not seem to have the same problems. And, if broken in properly prior to track use, seem to be holding up to track use EXTREMELY well. The open question is whether it will be enough better than standard brakes to justify the costs... only time will tell there.
