Hi, I am new to this forum and I am is considering a yellow 360 CS. Majority of the cars seems to be RC or RS. How is the Gallio Modena regarded on the 360 Challenge Stradale? Would yellow be considered less "valuable"?
color is subjective. personally, if it has a stripe, i dont like it in yellow. but without the stripe the giallo is nice. depends on the interior color choices too.....so please tell us what it is it wont affect price any more than other colors my guess for the cs is red is most common, and red with stripe probably adds 10k to bottom line. after that the preferred colors are probably black and then silver and blue.
Color is subjective, as previously stated. As the years go by color will not make a difference, and at the end of the day you will have a CS, which is a great thing.
I think it looks great http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2893/9001541808_9a0421146d_c.jpg http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2885/9000357737_3851cde288_c.jpg
They say your first Ferrari should be Red. They also say, that sophisticated Ferrari owners usually pick something other than Red, with Black considered cool and Yellow considered bold. I live in Italy and both my wife and every single one of my Italian friends INSISTED that I purchase only a red 360. I figured I could ignore my friends but not my wife, so mine is Red. But I really like Yellow, especially on the 360. Go for it.
WOW first time I have ever been called Sophisticated Thanks My 1 and only unbreakable rule when I was looking for my first Ferrari was any color but Red and Black. Too many Red ones out there and the Black car I will ride in when I am in the box in the back so no need to have a Black car now. I ended up with sophisticated Blue (Grigio Alloy) but Gallio was high on my wish list.
i try to find the best car mechanically and shape wise. the color is an afterthought - unless it is something stupid. so it is purely chance that most of my ferraris are red.
My first Ferrari (328) was Black, second (348) was Red, third (355) is Yellow and most recent addition (360 CS) is Black. The condition of the cars always took priority over the colour. They are all beautiful cars.
Yellow is a tricky color and doesn't fit to all vehicles. But a 360 with its awesome body style fits perfect to this color - IMO a 360 CS in yellow is nearly perfect. I'm convinced in this case yellow is not a reason for less value, rather the contrary. Can it be that you wanted to push down the price about the color? ;-)
I've never seen a GM (yellow) CS, most are RS or RC. Personally, I like yellow ferrari cars, my 3rd favorite color after RS and RC. Problem is many people are not crazy about yellow so resale might be a bit of an issue. If the car checks out and is nice, why not?
I love my giallo 2002 360 Modena with Cuoio and carbon fiber interior. Image Unavailable, Please Login
