When is the 1st full service recomended for the CS?
True, but a) a search on fchat or b) if you've got the car, its doesn't exactly take a PhD in nuclear physics to open the book and look at the service interval page.
Or contact his dealer! Sorry, but I see this kind of not so smart questions all the time on the M5board and here at times and it really makes me wonder! Maybe, he should have asked, "After reading the manual and talking to my service tech, does anyone have any additional insight into items I should check with my 1st full service." I mean we don't know anything about this particular car from the thread, no year, mileage, tracking or not and so on. Don't think RTFM was to far off! Robert
Jeeeze guys..... He's just trying to be a member of the board. Take it easy. Have some compassion. This is a hoobby fer God sakes....
WOW I did not think that asking a question would upset many people. Well the reason why I ask that is because I talked to the FERRARI tech and told me to wait untill 4years since I dont track my car and I dont drive it that hard. I wanted to see what 360 CS owners think or have done. But I wont ask anymore because people seem to know all about their carsss and other ones.
I hate to think I have to pay out the bazoo for a 3yr/30K mile servicing on my CS when its only got 10K miles, has had all regular servicing thus far, and is in stellar condition. Even doing it all at the end of year 4 seems onerous, though strong advocates will say, at least do the belts and check the tensioners, because that's the main concern. But even then, your Ferrari dealer will tell you to do it all when you get the belts done because everything else is beyond the belts (and maybe tensioners) is relatively cheap, a small part of the overall cost. Having said the above, I am still going to do the full 3yr/30K servicing just before my 3 year warranty expires and the reason, simply, is "the warranty". If any servicing will find flaws in the car before the warranty expires, its the 3yr/30K servicing. And, of course, I'm sure Ferrari recognizes we'll rationalize it this way, thus prompting us to spend the money on the 3yr servicing when its unlikely anything will be wrong with our cars. Anyway, that's my take, though I still feel squeezed between a rock and a hard place.
timing belt service which i believe includes coolant, two new timing belts, accessory belts, set timing, etc. Also, from what i've heard, you need to have the tensioners checked and replaced if necessary. i think this is a fairly expensive item (an additional $1000 i believe). oil change brake fluid change I'd highly recommend changing the gear oil as well to Royal Purple. i'd also recommend new spark plugs. i've read the manual, but i don't have it in front of me right now. does anybody know anything about fuel filters on the stradale? i would assume that they have to be cleaned and/or replaced periodically, right?
OK. Maybe his manual is in Italian. Maybe he lost his manual. Maybe he can't read. Give the guy a break.
You can still ask, my point was try a little research and then ask the question specific to your need. All the information above was not included in the original post. Robert
Next to the Bible, an auto owners manual is the LEAST read piece of literature which people have in their posession. (Not to hijack the thread, but Ferrari manuals are not very user friendly IMHO even though they are in several languages.) Ciao
That maybe true with some however, were referring to the Owner's Service Book which details scheduled maintenance.

I believe the prices you see on the previous link are from "Eugenio's Ferrari" in Southern California. Here is the link to the site: http://emelbon.tripod.com/eugeniosferrariservice.html
