Has anyone solved the backlight on dashbord yet? I have searched the chat but did not find anyone that have solved the big question " What is the problem with all the dashlights on 360 ?? "

Solved the problem? Isn't this the old issue that the board fries?
Seem to recall there was someone in the U.S. that can retrofit to use LEDs or something to that effect.

It is an EL panel and yes, they are delicate and often break if you jump the car or create any other voltage spikes. Yes, there is a company in the US that repairs them. I forget the name but they aren't that hard to find. I think they are in southern CA

OK, so to get it repaird is just to send it to US? Anyone in Europe (exept Ferrari)?
The LED solution is interesting, is it light-bulbs original? Then they might be replaced with LEDs that is powered seperatly. The original is broken anyway.
I have searched the web but only solution so far is to replace or send it to someone for repair.
I wonder what it is that really breaks in the supply to the lights, anyone outhere that knows?

My understanding is that it is not light bulbs or LEDs. It is an electro-luminescent display. I am not sure if the failure mode is a bad high voltage supply or if it is something breaking in the EL panel. Either way there is not bulb to replace and repair or replace are the only options that I know of.

Miki- FAI can repair. They did my Superamerica instrument panel. ~$500. Look at the yellow tachometer threads for instructions on how to remove the instrument panel.

Here is the strip panel for illumination.
