    Anyone have a simple procedure for getting to and removing the engine access panel on a 360 Spider? I'm looking to gain access to the coolant bleeder screw.

    OK, how did you get the panel off a Spider. Getting the carpet off isn't too difficult but how it ties into the storage box is confusing.

    Open storage box, remove three screws at bottom of box annd remove from frame. Next remove 4 screws (2 on each side) of the inner storage box frame and completely remove the frame, don't forget to unplug wire from the opener. Unscrew and remove the two storage nets behind the seats. Remove both corner leather contours(snapped in). Unscrew both left and right fusebox panels on floor behind seats and finally remove the rear carpet. A little involved and PIA but doable.

    Thanks. I had been in all of that except I hadn't sorted the storage box.

    Is this the approved solution for accessing the coolant bleeder screw?
    I just changed my coolant, and I need to burp the system. I found the bleeder screw, and< (at least on my spider), it is extremely difficult to access.

    Would be much less headache and less trouble if you invest in a "airlift" bleeder system. Basically it allows you to refill the coolant system without trapped air in minutes. I have used it several times with the 360 and never had a trap air issue nor had to bleed the system.

    Cover the fender really good, lean in with a flex 10mm socket, and a long extension on a 1/4 drive rachet. Loosen it off, with out having to remove a damn thing.
