Not sure if these are related but I decided to wash my 03 360 and while I was about it check the air filters. I have K and N oil impregnated filters in a grouppe m air box. After cleaning and re oiling the filters and cleaning and drying the car it ran fine for about 1 mile then seemed to loose power. On my 10 mile trip home the engine light would sometimes stay on and other times flash, The car runs fine at low rpm but stutters and looses power when reved over approx 3500 - 4000 rpm. I understand the light is showing an emissions failure but have checked all connections etc and everything seems fine. if any one could point me in a direction to look it would be appreciated. It's a common problem on any car with oiled filters. If you use too much oil the oil gets on the MAFS and the engine light triggers. Try cleaning the mass air flow sensors and that should cure the problem. good luck
