Drove my 360 Spider yesterday - the temp was about 45 degrees.
Anyway, notice that when driving on highway, the water temp would drop to the mark between 140 and 210. (That's about 175.) When I go in stop-go traffic, the temp goes to the 210 mark which I thought was "normal". Just wondering if anyone else with a 360 has noticed this behavior of if possibly I've got a bad thermostat (maybe stuck open).

The other problem I noticed was I couldn't get any heat out of the heater in the car unless I put it on Defrost. Was thinking that there might be some kind of lock-out in the heating system due to the cooler than normal water temperature.

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

Old thread here but the same thing happened to me tonight with my 2004 360 Spider...could not get the heater to blow warm whatsoever tonight...temps in the low 60s.

Car isn't overheating, in fact it also seems to be running right at 170 during normal conditions and 210 when stopped for more then 20 seconds. But still, no heat. :(

Check the HAVC ECU module.Controls the heater valve and air inlet valves.

How would I check the HVAC ECU myself (other then taking it to the dealer)? Any quick way to diagnose it?

FWIW, AC blows nice and cold, just no heat for some reason...suspected that the radiators were poorly bled/burped but that does not appear to be the problem.

Surely you've checked this but could the entire automatic climate control system be switched off?

I had that happen in mine, although in my case I thought the AC had stopped working. Turned out that I must have bumped the STOP switch. It's hard to tell which position it's in just by looking at it.

Yup, first thing I checked...tried it with both the "Stop" button on and off.

It's my understanding that the Stop button simply controls the AC compressor, not the entire HVAC. In other words, you can have the vent and fan speed dials set to Auto with the stop button engaged and it will maintain the temp you set.

Sadly, high in mine = whatever temp it is outside at most. :)

Heater and A/C works fine in my car. Set the temperature high (74 degrees or more) to force it into heat mode with the air blowing out high.

No go in my 360...setting the fan and temp to HIGH results in ambient temp air blowing into the cabin.

Letting the car idle until it heats up past 210 doesn't even impact the heater...

Taking her in this week to the dealership.
