Hi All - my first post in the 360 / 430 section. I have a crazy idea that I will share later if this info can be loosely validated and confirmed. I am trying to confirm dimensions and measurements of the tipo f131. I found a document online that looks factory. Its low resolution so I had to guess some of the numbers, but they seem complementary to each other as I interpreted them. I blew the drawing up to scale on my screen and made estimates of other key measurements.

I do not need down to the mm or exact inch measurements - I would like some confirmation to confirm I'm close and in the general ball park or way off... A simple "Yep seems pretty close to me" is all I am looking for - even if for just a couple of these.

Here is the f131 diagram, which could be helpful for others in this section and a screenshot of my estimated measurements.

    Thank you!
    Spencer

Hi I think this correct - Again a long time F-Chatter vetting out an idea in concept and with data. I have a project in mind that nobody has done before. Any simple validation of some of the key numbers above would be greatly helpful. It would also mean you get to see me in the 360 forum more, contributing with everyone. I have done a lot of research on the f131 and I'd love to share some things I've learned, if I get to my next step.

The main numbers I need are
Engine Height very bottom pan to very top of plenum - inches or cm is cool - tape measure eyeball / estimate / no factions or decimals needed.

Engine Block Length - very front of belt covers to rear of block - again the same accuracy conditions as above....

^^^^ the above information should validate what i need but if anybody can also:

Engine Block (very front again) to Diff Center Length
    OR
Front of Transmission to Diff Center Length

All I hoping to get is a "meh - that seems right..."

    Thank you!
    Spencer

I cannot wait to see what your plan is. I remember meeting you for the first time and helping you with your hand-me-down GT4 ... 15 years ago. Boy, how the apprentice has become the master.
