My new-to-me 2000 360 Modena with 6-speed MT is on the transport truck! it's been a long search, and finding the car for me has been a gratifying journey. The seller has been great, this Forum has been great, and I'm about as excited as I can be. I promise to post all sorts of pictures once it arrives.

I wanted to ask for some advice on addressing a few esthetic items I want to fix once the car is here. I'm sure I'll think of some others later on, but for now, two come to mind. The first is the door map pockets, which appear to be plastic. They are silver on this car, and they have some scratches through the paint (if it is paint). Any suggestions on how to get these looking new? Do they come off easily? Is the only option replacement parts?

The other question is about wheel/rim restoration. This car has the stock five-spoke star wheels, and I assume they are painted rims. To repair gouges, should I insist on a place that adds welds to fill in such areas before refinishing? Can anyone recommend a place in southern California where they've had such restoration done?

Thank you, and I'll keep posting!

There is very little plastic in the interior of your Ferrari. What is plastic will be black, and probably gooey. The door pockets are aluminum. There is one shop in the LA area that can restore them, from what has been discussed on here before.

They are aluminum and some flat finish and other a krinke finish. Check out www.exoticcargear.com as we have those panels in carbon fiber. A screws a n d the whole panel cones off. You 2 on top under the rubber window gasket and 2 on bottom of door.
    Good luck
