Could I please have comments regarding the best exhaust to replace the OEM on a 360 (2003). I know Tubi are very popular...but there must be others. I'm looking for a good exhaust note.

    Thanks.

There are quite a few. Budget really dictates what I could recommend.

There are a lot of subjective choices. After your web search, the best way is go to your local F-car meet and look/listen.

For my 360: I decided to go with the 430 exhaust set up.

I just had a Nouvalari "Super Sport" installed. Glenn Lite was fantastic to deal with. He spent a lot of time, both on the phone and emailed me all the info I needed. I was going to go with the "Sports" Exhaust, but was convinced to go with the "Super Sports". I'm glad I did. The startup sound is great, aggressive, but not over the top. 2nd and 3rd gear are fantastic. 6th gear at around 3000 RPM's is perfect. My car is in the shop getting ready for the spring. Can't wait to pick it up next week. I looked at several systems. I'm very happy with my decision. I'm now thinking about adding the CAT's. Check Glenn out at [email protected]. He's a sponsor and good man.....

I've been fitting both Tubi and Capristo for some years. Both are exellent systems with great aftersales back-up. There are many other good systems on the market too, you should try and hook up with owners of cars with these systems to hear them and decide. it's all personal preference really...

I have a Larini on mine. It really makes the 8 cylinders bass come out. Deep and throaty. I'm installing Fabspeed headers and racing cats next week so I'm curious of the new sound

Try unclipping the exhaust and see if you're happy with that first.

I just replaced the stock exhaust on my 360 with a Capristo level 3 last December and really like it. As far as which system you go with, it's a personal preference depending on what sound you like best. My suggestion would be to try to hear as many as possible in person, not on a youtube clip, as they'll sound different.

When I asked my mechanic his opinion, he just mentioned to stay away from the cheap ones and go with either Tubi, Capristo or something of that caliber as the cheaper ones don't fit as well and just don't have great customer support.

BTW, I did end up purchasing my system from Taurino Racing (one of the sponsors here) and Andrea was very knowledgeable and great to deal with. When I asked him what would happen if I thought the level 3 was too loud once I got it installed, he even offered to exchange it for a level 2 if I wanted. Of course, he was correct with his recommendation and I absolutely love the level 3!

I had a Capristo which, surprisingly, rusted and generally discoloured, worse still a mounting bracket failed. I replaced it with a stock unit with the bypass valve set to open at 1000 rpm. It sounds great and looks a thousand times better than the Capristo. Good luck with your choice.

I have a Nouvalari Supersport and it's excellent. Superb build quality, incredible value for money and awesome sound. She screams past 6,000 rpm and rumbles with a deep bass below that. Highly recommended. :)

I have an 04 Spider with FABSPEED Headers(minus the air rails),FABSPEED sport-cell 200 cats and a Tubi Muffler. Really deep, throaty and screams when you open it up.. Great set-up with the ECU re-map.
