    New member, 1st post!

I'm currently looking at a '02 Modena with 34k miles offered at 95k.

    Here are some specs:
    • F1 transmission
    • Repainted exterior silver, but paint code is grigio alloy
    • Black interior
    • CS front/side/rear bumper/wheels and ECU upgrade
    • Capristo exhaust from the cats
Unknown reason for the repaint when I inquired about it, and not sure why the repaint was a different color.

Question: If I do end up buying it, is this going to be an issue later on when I attempt to sell?

    Unless you can get it inexpensive(read 40s) I wouldn't even bother .. i would look.for a no stories car

You will have issues selling it for sure

At 95 there are /will be so.many good cars (F1 that is)

Anything you are asking yourself it what you will deal with exiting. Up to how much you enjoy the setup but guessing most exotic buyers would walk on non-OEM paint.

Repaints are always a black mark on cars like these (especially in a non "original" color). Have you checked the CarFax regarding accident history? While often times owners will pay out of pocket to avoid an insurance claim (and a subsequent accident history on CarFax) a quick check will tell you some valuable info.

Chances are the owner had some bucks and was willing to do the mods and a repaint at his expense because it was simply what he wanted... but...
IMO, at 34K miles and $95K -- that's no deal-- at all. And to add you may be married to the car if and when you want to sell it. Especially if you put another 20K miles on it. So yes I think this would be an issue when you decide to sell it. Of course if you simply want to enjoy it and not give a flip about what it will or would re-sell for, then be sure to get some pretty firm and comprehensive maintenance records to vett the car.

Good luck, but if it were me, I'd keep looking.

close to 40k miles, thats WAY too much $. Check Bring a Trailer auctions. That car would probably be in the $70k range.

Overpriced honestly. If it was priced more competitively it would make a great driver.
