I will be changeing my gear oil soon. This may be a silly question but lets give it a try: Instead of putting the car on the lift and having to remove the undertray to get to the drain plug could you instead use a siphon to remove the gear oil from the housing? How efficient would this be?
Not very. If you are going to the trouble, do it right. Pull the drain plug. If there was an easier way that worked Ferrari would not have gone to the expense of putting a drain plug in it.
