My 04 360 has been in the garage for about a month (couldn't get out because of lousy weather). The last time I drove it everything was fine but I went to start it this morning the gear indicator light is flashing, the warning buzzer goes off and the F1 transmission failure light is on. The only other thing was the battery was a bit low last night when I tried to start it and would not turn the engine over so I charged it overnight. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info. In this case I can hear the pump running when I open the door.

I'm have the exact same problem on my 2000 360 after letting it sit 5 weeks.

I would love to hear any advice. I also hear the pump running.

I'm assuming the batter charge did not help?

I just spoke to my mechanic and he suggested to shut the battery switch off for 5 minutes to see if this might clear the fault. He also said do not do this if the car needs to be smogged any time soon, which is not the case for me. I will give this a try when I return home from work today.

He said it could be caused by a low battery, which is why I wanted to confirm that charging was no help for you.

Well, I'm back with good news... A full battery charge and another "reboot" with the battery switch finally cleared the fault. Whew.

Lesson learned, drive the car or keep it hooked up to a Battery Tender!

Thank God that cleared it. These F1 problems would drive me crazy.

Drive the hell out of it. weather permitting of course.
