I have both a 360 and an F430 with the F1 auto shifters When placed on AUTO, the 430 remains on auto after shifting it to neutral at stops, and will kick down from 6th to 4th when I stomp on it. But, the 360 turns auto off when I go to Neutral at stops, and I must re engage AUTO after each stop. The 360 will not kick down a gear when stomped on. Is this normal for the 360, or do I need a fix. And if so, how to fix it? Computer maybe?
Any gear requests ( while in motion) will cause it to jump out of Auto .. when fully stopped it will remain in Auto when requesting a gear change For more documentation .. check the owners manual under "automatic mode"
Unfortunately I lack an owners manual. When approaching a STOP, I shift the 360 to neutral. That kicks it out of AUTO mode, while doing same on my 430 does not cancel auto mode. Is that the way it should be? And will the 360 not shift to lower gears in Auto on hard acceleration?
This is an odd one. I know for sure on the 360..as soon as you flip the paddle, it will go into manual mode automatically. On the 430..it seems the later cars require you to manually turn off auto mode..even though you can control the shifting at will..it will stay in auto. In others..the car defaults to automode on start up. It also seem very inconsistent what car does what..some do it..some don't. Just one of those Ferrari things.
Yes normal as mentioned above ..unless you are totally stopped Sent from my moto g power using Tapatalk
