Hi On my 360 this year it has has a complete new clutch and the later model TCU, and has been running just fine. I have spent thousands outside my warrenty and really do not want to go any where near the main dealer again unless i need to. It seems that when I am in neutral and put it into first it clonks quite loudly when you put it into gear. Also when it is in auto in clonks quite loudly at the point or gear changes when it shifts down when you reduce speed?? I also saw the transmission light flash on today when I was breaking hard, i looked in the manual and only makes refrence to the light being on all the time. I am not sure if it was always this bad, any ideas if this is normal? does the clutch need adjustment or idle etc??, I have done a few miles since the clutch was done. Anyone any ideas??? Thanks in advance
Seems like they could get on the SDII and tweek that without much problem. Take it back and have them do it right.
I can't see how you would be able to avoid a trip to the dealer. They'll need to hook up the SDII ("digital box of tricks") as noted earlier. Might want to check if the F1 fluid is at the right level in case it is something trivial, but ultimately you are better off getting the system checked with their computer. I recommend using a dealer that ran a 360 challenge team as they should know the system better than most others, that's what I did with mine. Lou
I will book it in again for them to have a look at, I just wanted to know if it was one of those common problems that people come accross or something that could be more serious. ta
