360 Fab-Speed Cat/ header/ECU Up-Grade

    I have a 04/360 spider(10k/mi) with carbon air boxes and a Tubi. I am currently considering a Fab-speed package (200 sport cell cats/ headers/ and their EVO Ecu re-flash). I am very pleased with the increased promises of Hp and torque gains- especially in the mid/lower ranges. My BIG concern is the increased noise. Im not so concerned about acceleration noise volume(higher RPM'S), but more about idle volume levels(they say the decible level at low rpm is similiar). I love the existing Tubi "sound" and I dont want to loose that, just enhance the "jump" at lower RPM's.
    I'm wondering If anyone has gone this route, or has any feedback that is based on experience. I would appreciate feedback about tech data, decible levels, and performance-not a cost debate.

    I found, and I don't understand exactly why this is, that headers with air rails gave me the sound I wanted, dialed it back a notch. Fabspeed originally sold me headers without air rails, and I had them replaced to get closer to being emissions legal and to solve the CEL problem I was having. With air rails as opposed to without, the sound is much less harsh. Would love to have someone explain why that is. But that would be my recommendation, their headers with air rails, better sound, less CEL's, closer to legal.

    I have a 360 spider and I have had 4 differenet rear mufflers on my car. The best and ultimate upgrade are the Fabspeed race headers and HJS German sports racing 200 cell sports racing catalytic converters. Make sure you dont assume all catalytic converters are the same as many are using no name generic Chinese or USA catalytic converters and these will cause cell lights or worse they blow out and block up your pipes down stream.

    The headers and race cats are really a great upgrade no matter what rear muffler one has on their Ferrari. It only and always gets better with headers and quality sports racing cats for these cars!
