what more than likely caused the fire is the fuel lines coming from the top of the tank into the fuel rails and the fuel vents. I've seen about 6 360s now that have had to had these replaced due to the plastic clips and what not breaking. I believe scottsdale ferrari (awhile ago) had a 360 burn down just as it left the lot due to the fuel/vent lines were cracked. when you bring your cars in for a service make sure you have the mech check them out.

My knowledge is that cars rarely blow up, that is more for the movies. I did feel some heat when I went back the second time to release the trunk. Probably not the wisest thing to do but I was thinking pretty quickly and thought I would be all right. I do not think a fire extinguisher would have helped in this instance as the car went up very quickly.

    Sorry to see this Limo.
Are these cars really burning/catching fire at an unusual pace lately?

could it be due to leaking fuel pump. i understand on 360s this is a common problem
