    Guys, considering selling up.........

Any ideas what i should be asking??....Anyone searching for a stunning 360??

Took me ages to find one with this mileage and spec but i could do with out as its not getting used enough to compensate having it sitting there!......was supplied/purchased and serviced from Dick Lovetts Ferrari dealer.

2003 UK supplied 360 modena, 6sp manual with only 2800 miles!
    Rosso with crema
    Electric Daytona seats
    Scuderia Wing shields
    Red brake calipers
    Red stitching to dash/seats......everywhere!!
    Red carpet
    Leather head-linning
    Front challenge grilles
    Rear challenge grille
    6 CD changer
    Car covers
    Tool kit
    Battery changer
    Tracker
    Full Ferrari history

Still under FERRARI WARRANTY till April 2006 (will double check date)
Had belt change May this year (will double check date)

Always garaged/valeted and was treated with full Auto-Glym protection when we purchased it from main dealer.
    Car is immaculate..........

Currently on a 3 digit private plate which will be removed upon sale.

Not really after a part exchange but may consider depending on what it is........will need to be well priced though as i will just be selling it on........have too many cars as it is!!

Details and pics available on request.........and please genuine enquiries only!

    Thanks
    Harry

Just out of idle curiosity, why did it have a belt change a year early? The scheduled interval in the UK is 3 years, yours seems to have been done after only two.:)

I guess he had the belt service thrown in as part of the deal when purchasing the car earlier this year.

    Had late £80's in mind.......

I paid a fair bit for her simply cos of the mileage and also cos of the spec.

Not willing to give her away........will hold out for the right person who is after a prime example (spec and mileage wise).

I understand where you are coming from, but would say if you get a near sensible offer then snap their hands off as we're in the off season and prices will keep going south as christmas approaches

This makes no sense to me at all. Surely it would've been far better to have bought the car as is, with an IOU for a cambelt change ready for when it's due next April? The car should have been serviced in April 05, not May, to ensure that the warranty remained valid. I just don't see the logic in carrying out a belt change 11 months early as it messes up the service history

I dont understand what you are struggling to understand........and find this really pointless tbh as your not interested in buying the car........however will simplify it so theres no misunderstanding to anyone who is interested:

    1. Car has been serviced on time and is still in its manufacturers warranty.

    2. When i was doing the deal with the Main dealer i purchased the car from it was going in for its second service.........
As part of the deal i got them to change the belts for 2 reasons:
    a) saves me doing it in a years time!....hassle etc....
    b) saves me paying for it!!!........circa £1000!

Is this so difficult to understand??..........are you going to try and convince me that changing the belts a year early at no expence to me what so ever has caused a problem or de-valued the car???

Sorry if this looks like im jumping down your throats.......which i can assure you im not..........but im finding it very frustrating trying to see what the problem is here?!?!?!?

i cant be arsed to read the thread but there shouldnt be a problem mate, most 360's would have the belts done by a main dealer if they were going out whether thye needed em or not, mine included.

cant see anything wrong with your car lamb360

Late 80s seems high to me - especially with so many Spiders being offered for sale now. But good luck with it.

lamb360, don't be disheartened every thread where somebody is giving a heads up of selling their car takes the same format, seller wants X, every man and his dog thinks it's worth Y, eventually it sells for somewhere inbetween.

So for a positive spin, if I hear of anyone i'll put them your way

The problem is you've posted this on a general forum.

The plus point is you get more eyes on your ad, as opposed to a specific "items for sale" forum.

The negative is people will discuss aspects which you may not like.

    You can't have it all.

P.S. These replies that are "frustrating" you, are keeping your ad near the top of the forum. So I wouldn't be to hasty in jumping down the posters throats.
