Has anyone seen a wheel spacer kit to push the front wheel out an inch or two to better fill the opening when fitted with stock 5 point wheels on a 360?

Hill Engineering sells spacer kits and our sponsor Ricambi carries them.

Excellent! I see they (https://www.hillengineering.co.uk/wheel-related/wheel-spacers/) offer Type 1 and 2. I'm leaning toward type 2 (uses original bolts). Anyone have a good or bad story to tell about Type 1 or 2?

Also, what would provide the best look - 25mm, 40mm, 50mm or 60mm - for a stock 2000 360? I would love to see some visual examples.

Are these carried by any US dealers? I am in Florida.

    Thanks!!!

use the type that secures the spacer with the wheel lugs

    safest and most secure

Remember that you will need to find wheel bolts with the additional length of the spacer thickness you choose

Let me start by saying that as of 4 MAR 2022, the +11mm bolts are on factory backorder and likely not due to arrive to us for another 3 weeks.

The most common configuration we see on the 360 and F430 is 11mm in the front, and 15mm in the back. It is a 'safe' setup with the least likelihood of tire rubbing. If you are in a flat state (ahem.... Florida), you can generally get away with 15mm in the front and 15mm in the back.... or even 20mm in the back. BUT, my personal opinion is that 20mm in the back starts to look strange on a 360. Sure, it works well on some models, but for whatever reason the 360/F430 seem to visually look too wide beyond 15mm.

Oh, and please re-read the very first sentance of this post, to avoid any disappointments :)

Yes, closer examination of the Hill Eng. offerings shows only the 11mm and 15mm Type 1 available for the 360. I don't see the value in a .59" offset for the wider 15mm option much less 11mm up front. Thanks for your detailed response.

I was told the optional factory wheels had a wider front wheel profile. I wonder how they manage that if you can only add 11mm safely on the front?

    standard 360 offsets were 28 mm F & R - 18" 7.5" F and 10" R
challenge wheels were 31 Front and 39 Rear - 19" - same widths as 18"

Not a huge difference in offsets

so easy to see why so many went with optional wheels and spacers

11 - 15 mm spacers rear are good

beyond 8 mm front is pushing it a bit I think

remember too that every push out away from the center line of the wheel bearing pushes the vehicle weight beyond the designed bearing centerline which can affect bearing life

Too wide a front spacer will likely result in fender contact with lock and a bump.

Optional 360 wheels (modulars) are exactly the same width and offsets as the starfish wheels. Scuderia/16M wheels were 8" in front and 19" in diameter.

Thanks for the great comparative specs. I'm going to simply stay stock on this.
