I have a rattle in my front left suspension area.

I've removed the 4 nuts that hold the top wishbone to the chassis, and the forward 'flambloc' seemed to come out easily, almost falling out.
    The rear flambloc remained intact.

    My questions are....

Are they supposed to have bushes?

Are they supposed to fall out this easily?

Why would this fail? I now suspect that the forward sleeve that holds the flambloc is worn creating this knocking noise. Should I now replace the wishbone and flamblocs, or just the flamblocs?.

Not uncommon to have to replace them. They do wear so check the others. Probably lots of driving factors involved in how they wear. On Challenge cars it's a part to check regularly, like any suspension part.
