After much searching for how to release the fuel door on my Ferrari 360 Spyder, both online and in my car, I finally found the T-handle connected to the release cable. The manual simply shows it to be above the left side taillights, but does not mention that to see to access it, you must remove the four screws holding the panel above the taillights and remove that. With that panel in place and knowing where it is located, one can possibly insert two fingers into the rear slot on that panel and find and pull the t-handle.
On my F430 the release handle is in that same location but out in full view. Apparently Ferrari thought it was a good idea to hide it on the 360. Hmmm !!

This is nothing new. I have a vintage 1967 Ferrari, and some of the emergency release cables are quite well hidden.

My CS has a panel with a hole in it that the cable is fed through and held in place with an e-clip.
The handle can be removed from the cable to allow it to be fed through the hole in the panel. This makes it readily visible and accessible.
