Looking for the correct Bosch fuel pump part numbers for a 360 SPIDER. Why are the part numbers different for a coupe and a spider?? Thanks

Blame the Capote! There's less clearance over the fuel pumps in the Spider, hence, special pumps for the Spider.

Yet, it is much easier to change the fuel pump ... in a spider. One of the rare events for a spider.

I agree. There's no issue with clearance if the correct pump is bought.

Providing it isn't a 1999 or early 2000 which requires the top removal for access.

One of the big issues with 360 fuel pumps is that the top of the complete pump assembly was made from a white plastic that cracks at the fuel pressure regulator that is built into the top, causing fuel to leak out. The replacement pumps are made from a beige plastic that doesn't crack, or at least not yet. So it is best to replace the complete pump assembly with a new part.
