    Guys,
I have spent sometime searching the forum and reading the WSMs and am having trouble with the actual access and TYPE of gearbox mesh on my 360. Are there two types ? The WSM shows one type with a single bolt to remove and another type with 2 bolts to remove. Could it be a gearbox type change dependant on model / year + would I be right in saying that the "single bolt" type would need the rear bumper removed to access the filter and the "2 bolt" type only needs the under tray removed.
Apologies for the long thread but I am confused :):)

    cheers

The one on the rear which has one bolt is the screen for the transaxle. The one under the engine is for -- well the engine oil. You have to remove the bumper to get to the transaxle screen or you can do what I did and cut a hole opposite it and fill with a rubber plug. When you remove yours you will probably find that it has never been cleaned and don't be surprised if you find aluminum shavings from the case machining process.
