    need some help please ,has anyone cleaned the inside of headlights from the inspection panel inside the wheel arch. is this possible? thanks paul...

    I am not an expert but as far as I know they are sealed. if you find a way let us know. mine could use a cleaning also.

    There was a very involved discussion of this about 2 months ago in the 360 section!

    Search there and you'll find the answers which included putting the assembly into an oven to heat and loosen the glue!

    Oh yea, you'll love this one!

    There is a draft tube that hangs down in the air stream creating a vacuum in the headlight. That tube has been miss routed and likely pinched or pointed forward picking up ram air dirt and debris. If it is full of dust, rerouting the tube will evacuate quite nicely given some time. If water spotted, its an ugly job to cut it apart.

    The lens can be cut off very slowly/carefully/patiently. Just use a scalpel/blade/knife and a series of wedges.

    Higher ambient temps help... but no need to actually heat it beyond summer temps.

    Takes about 2 hours to remove and refit lens each lamp, once the lamps are on the bench.

    I've done more than a dozen now.
