This is a 2000 mile 03 360 spider F-1. The AC cranks but the heater is not working. Maybe I don't know how to turn it on? Am I missing something, a switch or dial? I have tried everything turned every nob and there is no heat. Any ideas?

    Thanx

You do know that the "stop" button, which most tend to assume is for the AC also switches the heater? - ie, unlike most cars you've got to have the AC on for the heater to work.....

    Cheers,

Think of the stop button as climate control on/off. If it is off, you only get vent. If it is on, you get AC and Heat.

Thanks, yeah, I do know that the stop button must be out to use the AC and Heat. I still don't know why the heater doesn't work.

Might be dumb on my part, but just in case....
Are you not getting any air (wind) through the vents or just not WARM air?
You probably already know this, but you have to open the vents by turning them clockwise.

BTW, the owner's manual is wrong on the function of the heater. So even RTFM still wouldn't help.

The manual says you can have heat even when the system is in "off" mode, just turn the termperatur knob up.
