    hey, was just looking at the accessories ate Verdi ferraris, they advertise a 360 High Performance Factory Upgrade ECU for £4000. They say it will increase Power by 48 bhp.

    I just wondered how much faster this would make the car than standard modena 360. So if the standard is 0-60mph in 4.5s what would the 0-60 time be with an extra 48bhp.

    Karl fitted these for me. I don't have actual have figures but on the road and even more on a track the difference is very noticeable when exiting junctions corners - especially at low speeds.

    £4k seems a touch strong don't you think?

    I believe similiar results can be exacted by the likes of West Tuning, DMS et al for a fair chunk less?

    Is there any way to confirm the upgraded ecu's are in fact factory items and not simply standard ones that have visited tuners such as the above?

    Sorry for sounding cynical. But I heard lots of tales about upgraded ecus for lots of different cars, and the fact is most of them are upgraded at places like DMS and co, the seller then usually sticks a good margin on for themselves.

    what do you guys mean by factory upgrade? Is this something from an independent tuner or Ferrari factory?
