What is the real story with changing out the out the lame 360 horn for a real ferrari horn. (I did the search and nothing comes up when you put in the word "horn") what is the best year and model to emulate? (a 355?) and where can you buy the cool horn? Does it need a compressor and a horn? multiple horns? if yes how many? What part numbers? what to expect to pay? any advice???
Daniel- Looks like a great deal, especially since the 575 compressor just made the dreaded "call" for price list . Surprising they went to the electronic horn when the 575s were still being delivered with the air horns. Carry-over from the 550, I guess. Taz Terry Phillips Image Unavailable, Please Login
Daniel- If I need a compressor, guess I will buy your kit, keep the compressor, and throw away the rest. The kit is less than the compressor. Taz Terry Phillips
Hasn't been a problem even on hot days. I can try to get a picture after I get home. I am driving the car but it is raining today so I am not getting down there for the picture until I get home.
Daniel- Yup. Love that air horn sound and so do all my neighbors, the mail lady, and our local law enforcement officer. Always gets a smile. Easy to see why Ferrari changed. $200 worth of parts Ricambi compared to $40.19 Ricambi (new currency system) for both RH and LH horns for the 612. Taz Terry Phillips
I'd love them but the install seems a pain...with the flat belly pan not many places to hide them! Where are you going to locate them?
WARNING!! The air horns are EXTREMELY LOUD. Loud enough to permanently damage your hearing. Be careful.
My horns sound very quiet from inside the car. I haven't been stupid enough to stand in front to check it out.
