    OK.

There is no Valet switch and the alarm/immobilizer is one of the most hated things about the car. Crap when it was out, crap now. At least if you can't start it.. neither can the bad guy!

    1) Does the LED blink when you get into the car (on right of the steering column?)
    2) Does the LED in the FOB come on when you press it?
    3) Does the LED STOP blinking when you press the fob and the little light comes on in the FOB?
    4) Have you pressed the fob slowly on and off about 3-6 times?

    if no above

    5) Check the fuses to the immobilizer and alarm system and replace. (Page 4.25 in manual)
Let us know how this works out.

(Only 8000 miles? Geez drive it more! I'll say it again.. low miles are no guarantee..)

Ok so alarm fuse blown. 5 amp. Replaced. Blew right away. Replaced with 10a. Blew in 3 minutes. What now? I could tell it was working before it blew. Could the car battery be over charged from the tender? I dont think so but what else could it be? Help or i cankiss 3 k goodbye.

It could be that alarm module is toast and you're wallet will be lightened.. Before you go this route... Open the front trunk. Get a 2.5 or 3mm hex key/ wrench and take off the panel below he indshield with the tire inflator on it.

Once off and the vapor hiked peeled back on the right side, disconnect the lark siren ( black thing on upper right side of compartment. Search for pic if needed. If removing this ends your fuse issue, you can buy. New one or corvette siren. Rationale is siren hosted and blew the circuit... Search or alarm replacement on fchat if in doubt how to do it. Pretty common part to go.

If not then you might need to get. New alarm module..
