Well, looks like I am trading in my 348 on a beautiful 2000 360 F-1. Since I just received anotice that my insurance carrier was doubling the cost of insurance on my 348, I thought I would ask your opinions on where to purchase insurance for my "new to me" 360.

Thanks so much for your help. Thus the process begins, I will not be able to sleep until I have it in my garage. Trouble is, I loved my 348 and I hate to part with it either...

Just make sure to call around for several quotes, they can vary dramatically. Also, check the difference between a $1k and $500 deductible, since this can make a huge difference in premium and it's not like you'll get a lot of $800 claims you'll submit and be kicking yourself from getting the $1k deductible ;). Get full liability coverage, that is only pennies for that last $150k+ of coverage.

Got mine from AAA. I saw some postings showing StateFarm is also good.

Your car is over 10 years old. If you are a member of FCA or FOC and drive less than about 5k miles a year [about average for most F cars] and declare that you will only be driving on club activities [there are many club activities!] or to your Ferrari doctor, then you will qualify for an extremely low annual rate. Contact State Farm or Haggerty about this program. Good luck and happy motoring, oh and btw once you start driving the 360 I don't believe that you will pine over the 348 for long.
