I purchased the Scud ing Swiss LED light set for my 99 360. Stef has a well-designed system & provides excellent customer service. It is a true plug & play system that is easily reversible back to stock. I originally had an issue with my model year 99 wire harness. The side marker light connectors are included in the tail light harness on that year only. I contacting Stef in Switzerland (it was the middle of the night over there, he replied in less than an hour). He made up a custom harness & shipped it the next day. He included a set of front LED turn signal bulbs to complement the rear LED lights for no additional charge. On my own I decided to replace the side marker lights with LED bulbs. It functioned normally in the garage, but started hyper flashing when I took a drive. After another email to Stef (answered the same day) I found out the culprit was the LED side markers bulbs. They were not drawing enough current. While they tested fine in the garage, once the engine running the voltage is increased causing the problem. The LED compatible flasher relay is calibrated to hyper flash if a bulb is burnt out (like the OEM flasher with normal bulbs would) People question the price, but the amount of research & quality more than justify it. After all, were not a bunch of high school kids driving a Civic
I have Stef's complete LED tail light kit too. I installed it a month ago. 1,000% happy and in my opinion worth every penny. Everything you said I concur. Stef's LED kit quality is top notch. Customer Service and Customer Support is outstanding. I highly recommend the kit. Here is mine: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/360-430/442387-diy-tail-light-upgrade-leds.html Dan
I purchased his turn signal kit that included LED for front and rear and a new flasher relay. When the kit arrived I noticed that there was only two bulbs for the rear and on my car and there are four -- two per side (not sure if it was just the 99 MY that had this). Stef sent me two more red LEDs at a discounted price. I notice that on his website there are now two kits -- one with two red LEDs and one with four. Installation was a breeze apart from getting the 4mm bolt off that holds the relay in place. Stef's kit includes a bracket that you attach in the original position and it has Velcro on it and the relay so it was much easier to install. Alan
I too have Stef's LED kit including the third brake light. I am very happy with the kit, fitment and operation. As Alan pointed out. The Velcro on the flasher relay makes the installation a breeze after having to uninstall the OEM.
