Took some photos of my 3 cars last night. They were supposed to be photos at dusk, but got hassled & delayed by the police (ended up being nothing) so they turned into night photos. Using a tripod, these were shot with the Nikon D70 with 18-70 kit lens, at ISO 200, 20 second shutter speed at F22.

Thanks for the nice comments guys. Yes the cars are all silver. Ever since I got the silver Supra, I've been hooked on silver. That was one of the limiting factors on my 360 purchase, there aren't that many 360's in Argento Nurburgring and I wanted only a black interior with F1. After long searching and a lot of luck, Ferrari of Orange County found one just the way I wanted.

My favorite without a doubt in any of our minds I'm sure is the 360 Modena, it is an amazing machine and my dream car. The music the car makes is intoxicating, the way it handles is tons of fun, the engine is so exciting to push up the RPMs, and for me personally this is the most beautiful car I've laid eyes on.

Next to the Ferrari the M3 holds it's own remarkably well. It's maybe about 7/10ths of the Ferrari as far as performance and handling go. Don't even try to compare in the looks department though. The one thing that I do like better on the M3 is the SMG gearbox. Compared to the F1 box, SMG is faster, more responsive, more direct, and also more practical because of the 11 different shift speed settings. But BMW did have 4 extra years to work on theirs. I'm sure the F1 box in the F430 is even better.

The Supra, well, it's a car of the mid 90's, and for a 11 year old car, it's pretty darn great. I get almost as much attention on the roads in the Supra as the Ferrari. The looks have aged extremely well, the car really doesn't look dated at all. The Supra's engine is bulletproof and when the second turbo kicks in, the torque and power is monstrous. But the Supra is not a very "civilized" vehicle, the peaky turbo power makes it a real brute and a handful to drive. The chassis and suspension of a decade ago don't match to the cars of the new millenium. But one thing that's more than I can say for the M3 and I'm pretty sure the Ferrari is that at over 100K miles, this Toyota has had almost zero issues whatsoever. Only problem I had to take it into the dealer for was because of damage another shop did to my spark plug wiring. The M3 I've had just over a year and have had to take in for several electronic gremlins like windows that stop working and the battery draining itself. The Ferrari (knock on wood) has had no problems so far, but I've only had it for 2 months and driven it 270 miles so far.

Wow!! Awesome cars, and awesome photography as well!! I own a D70... I have to learn how to make it sing like this!

Your cars are absolutely beautiful. I see you're in SoCal - I'd love to meet you at Crystal Cove sometime. Maybe you could teach me a trick or two about the D70 (and let me drool over your cars in the process).

    Enjoy!

The 360 is stunning! Not to sound rude, but why do you have three cars that are so similar...especially when one is so much more beautiful than the others? ;)

Cavallini thanks for the kind words. Yeah I can see how in a very broad sense the 3 cars seem similar. But if you actually own and drive them, you'll see each is very unique and have very different qualities. The M3 is the best all arounder of the bunch, I can use it for anything. Ferrari is the most exciting and passionate to drive, but for obvious reasons you don't just drive it everywhere. The Supra is much more visceral and raw, kinda brutish, muscle car like, not as refined, but still great fun.

In case anyone is interested, the original buyer for my Supra fell through. It's a 1994 with 106K miles, no mechanical issues whatsoever, just had 100K service done. Asking $22K for it. I'm located in Southern California. email ([email protected]) or IM me (AIM: riceyummy) (ICQ:2608863) if you're interested.

Whats your sf username? I haven't seen your car before and I have a Supra registry. If you are not a member register at Supraforums.com The car will be sold a lot faster than any other method imo. That's how I found my 95 hardtop.

SF is a bit sketchy. I don't want to speak for the guy, but I'm pretty sure Warren was on there and used to own a few Supras. I haven't been there in years, but all the pissing contests pretty much drove away any desire to participate for some people. Glad to see that business is good and some of the old Supra guys are moving up to Fcars.

Actually, if that car had a 6-speed I'd be on a plane to CA on Friday to buy it from you... I still can't figure out why Toyota bothered to seel those with automatic transmissions.
