HI all.. I am still fighting a age old issue with my car. Fault: When the car is warm ( normal runing temp ) the gear shifting is fine. When you gather a bit of speed on the autobahn 3rd to 6th shifts fine but 1st and 2nd are difficult to select. It gears very tight and difficult to push across to the left to select 1/2nd. Reverse is fine. I have just replaced the stock ferrari plastic part under the gear lever and it does seem a little better but still tight to select 1st/2nd. It is now not snapping back into the neutral rest position. Parts replaced: the gear cables from lever to gearbox the casing the cables connect to and all mechanism associated Clutch Service Who can offer me any ideas as to what the issue can be. They want to remove the box to inspect but that is a costly exercise with me spending a FORTUNE trying to resolve the isse i dont want to throw good money after bad. I did have 3rd gear syncro replaced about 3 years back. I would like to believe they inspected everything internally so hoping the issue is internal. thoughts PLEASE.....
