As you may new I am a newbie UK based owenr of a 2000 360 M 6 speed. When I first got my car it had a very sweet gearchange-not at all notchy or stiff. After 50 miles it started to get very stiff and then failed altogether. The problem was that the hydraulic fluid leaked through a faulty bleed nipple housing which had cracked by being over tightened. This is a commonish problem as the nipple housing is poorly designed and has since been uprated in design. The nipple and housing have been changed but the biting point seems lower and the gears seem a little stiff. The pedal now feels fine with plenty of resistance. Is there any adjustment on the clutch? Could it still need futher bleeding (not sure as the pedal is nice and firm?).
