I am in the market for my first Ferrari - a nice 360 original 6 speed. Budget up to $130k - cash buyer. Prefer mileage under 30k but might consider higher if the condition / price are right. Clean CarFax / Autocheck.

Open to any colors except Red and Yellow. The car should be up to date on all services with major service not immediately due. Service records required. Long term ownership preferred.

PM me if you have a car that you are considering selling.

Alternatively I might consider a higher mileage, well maintained F430 original 6 speed - obviously at a higher price.

FYI, posting a budget may inadvertently hurt your search, as someone with a car worth $110k may be tempted to present it to you as a $130k car...

Thanks for the input. I am aware that I may get some folks reaching for my stated budget but I know the market and how to vet any leads. My goal in posting the budget was to highlight that I am willing to spend market-correct money for the right car.

Correction - all colors except Red, Yellow and Black. I am primarily interested in Blues and Silver/Grey. I know they say that your first Ferrari should be red but I really like blue.

I won't say I regret buying a red gated 360 as my first Ferrari because I thought exactly as you said, "first Ferrari should be red", but I do look at the TDF blue 360 photos and really think it suits the shape so much better than red. My next one will definitely be blue.
    Good luck with your search!

+1. Never in my life I thought I'd ever own a blue car. The TDF / Tan is a stunning combo.

I have a 2007 TDF 430. I know I’m biased but think it’s the most beautiful car I’ve ever seen!!!

I was looking at the same- to be honest at $130k I'm leaning towards adding another $20k-$50k and getting a 458 mostly because of the reliability

Very tough to find a clean, no stories 458 for $150-180k. Most are $190k+. Totally different experience as well (paddles vs. gated manual).

My 360 has been extremely reliable.

What year is it? Aren't the ones pre-2004 prone to many issues? Last year I had the chance to buy a 2002 at 35k miles for $70k but I passed because literally every dealership told me the same thing about their mechanical issues

    2003.

Some of the early cars ('99-'00) had cam variator issues that were repaired under recall. The F1 gearbox cars go through clutches faster than the manual gearbox cars, and some have had issues with the hydraulics used to actuate the gearbox. But overall, 360s (especially manuals) are quite reliable if driven and not left to sit.

IMO the 360 modena is one of the sexiest modern day Ferrari's the factory ever built. It reeks Ferrari

Is that a converted car? Or original?

First thing my eyes went to was the crooked shift knob. Lol

I don't know as I have not seen the car in person. But, you can search the VIN to find out, or call the dealership. These guys are very straight shooters and are very picky about their inventory.

Just looked at the pics. Unlikely that it is a converted car, but it does have an aftermarket knob, which might explain why it appears to be threaded slightly off center.
