I would like to install the 430 Challenge Center lock hub assemblies on my 360 Modena. Has anyone done it and what was the cost of doing it?

I know that guys are selling kits

    Thanks

I did it to my F430 years ago, it was not such a big deal once we had it worked out.

When we first installed the hubs and bearings (they bold straight on), we had the whole manniteno fail, traction control lights come on, failures all over the car. Wheel dimensions not the problem.

My mechanic got his computes, set it to show the pattern signal in a graph form from the phonic wheel, it was a total failure. We swapped the phonic wheel and sensors from the road hubs on the race, center lock hubs, car worked perfectly!

One thing we found was I cracked a front wheel v.soon after fitting them, just got a flat tyre and found out that way, no dramatic event. The front wheels were used in one race but balanced up perfectly with no obvious damage. The rears were brand new.

Once we replaced the front wheels (replaced both as a matter of course), never had any issues, but the car was sold after 3 months, so we don't know if the wheels are more fragile and have a lower expected lifespan, or simply they got damaged/ weakened during that one race on a GT car, either way, it's a consideration.

    Best Regards
