I have recently purchased 01 360, noticed a problem with the front tires rubbing the front fenders as I go through a drive way or dips. Whats the deal with the tires and the fenders? Anyone have any suggestions on what I should consider to fix?

You need to give the wheel and tire sizes and state if the wheels are OEM.

Are there spacers on the front?

Maybe the car has been lowered too much!

OEM were 18" on the 360. That said, I know of several 360 owners who had rubbing issues with OEM wheels, their dealer (FoSF in one case) had a fix for them involving minor mods in the wheel wells.

I cut the tires on my 360 spider with OEM 18's while driving on a skid pad. circumstances werew wet track, drifting attempt; hard turn in a and a partial spin. Extreme suspension loads and a 1/2" strip 5feet long peeled off the left front. I suppose it would be similar to a hard turn on a driveway with the suspension compressed. ~$400 for a new tire anbut no fender damage. No more skid pads though!

On the CS the fenders are rolled to prevent this.

As Gary stated, the OEM wheels are 18". So if you have 19" rims that in of otself will not cause a rubbing problem.

However, if the offset is too negative or if there are front spacers throwing the rims out more negative in the offset, then you'll get rubbing.

Best have that checked first before you look to fender rolling.

Again, what make are the rims?

In anticipation of my recently ordered 19" HRE's, I had my front fenders rolled (like the CS). You might consider the same. Tim

Not stupid at all... My first experience was at Summit Point. W VA. It's a paved flat circle a couple of hundred feet around that is to be used to test suspension set-ups tires, steering control g-loads etc. Lots of fun especially when wet. (this one has sprinklers to keep it wet) Fairly low speeds ...2nd gear stuff 40 -50 max speed. but very humbling. Keeping your foot in the throttle while drifiting the rear-end out takes a lot of practice, and more than a few spins. Great fun for a few laps.

Several months ago, after too many glasses of wine, I took a baseball bat to the fenders of eclipse185's 360 spider with OEM modular wheels. We rolled 'em back nicely, and pretty much solved the rubbing issue he experienced. I vaguely remember thinking, "this is a dumb idea". But, the Louisville Slugger did a great job, and the results look perfect.

I have no idea what we were thinking/drinking.

(Fender rolling entails putting the baseball bat between the tire and the fender, then slowly rolling the car until the bat reaches the other side of the well. Don't start with the fattest section of the bat... use a narrow-er region, then on successive rolls, work up to the fatter part of the bat).

Then again, don't do anything listed above. If you screw up your fenders, I don't want to be the nut-job on the internet who suggested it....

Rolling the fenders takes approximately 45 minutes. Figure the cost accordingly. In addition to the bat (as suggested by Daniel), it is important that the fender is heated. This keeps the paint flexible thereby preventing the paint from cracking. Tim
