WOW!!!!! I guess there is no license for common sense. Hope the guys are ok, thats a heck of an impact. Robert
Maybe add a zero to that? Doesn't look like any skid marks but maybe the guy was trying to make the turn and then hit rumble strips and oversteered into the pole. Those guys are pretty lucky.
Glad the guy didn't get hurt/walked away.... and on that same note.... WOOHOO, my car's value just went up 1/10,000th as there is one less 360 in the world!
Interesting that we have tree sitters in Berkeley, CA, and you guys have "pole" sitters! Thanks for "post"ing this.
Wonder if it will pop up on Aussie Ebay.... SALVAGE title, light frontal impact but in excellent condition... James in Denver
Was for sale... http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/FERRARI/360/South%20Australia/csn5819581.aspx?State=SA
Yeah they stole my joke from a couple years ago with the last big Aussie Ferrari crash google: http://www.google.com.au/search?q=ferrari+pole+position+crash page: http://aussieexotics.com/2006/12/17/perth-ferrari-360-spider-crash-dui
Heya mate. I dont know the persons involved and they are not on Fchat either. The crashed happened in Adeliade, South Australia. A long way from here, but news does travel fast! There are some Aussie Fchatters that live in Adelaide that brought this to our attention last night.
Yep, Ferraris, like ALL import cars to Australia are very expensive! AU $250K is currently US $156K with the current exchange rate. 161 Ferraris currently for sale here. All in Aussie dollars. http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-cars/search.aspx?N=279%204294966867%201426
In this situation, it looks like the car did what it was suppose to do.... crumple up and absorb the impact energy so the driver/passenger could walk away. Too bad for the car though.... some people should not be allowed to have a license to drive.
............AND HE WALKED AWAY!! http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,24566641-662,00.html Image Unavailable, Please Login
