Have you hear something new about the replacement of the 360 ? I spoke with a local dealer and he said that from now the 360 Modena are not available to order. About the new car, he said that the car will be something like the 360 CS for the design, but with a 4.2l engine inside ! The launch of the car could be in late 2004 or spring 2005. Do you have any informations that confim this ? Alain www.cavallino.cc
Check the search function and you'll ge all the latest scuttle-but on this replacement. If they're not taking any more orders for the current 360 it must be just around the corner then in Europe.
Late 2004 or spring 2005? The car will be something like the 360 CS for the design? Now I really don't know whats going on. They said the car will look like the Enzo and should be release in 2006-2007.
There are so many rumors about the 360 replacement, that you can take your pick. If you right, youll look like a hero, and if you're wrong, it was only a rumor: · new car end of 2004 -- looks like a CS with 4.2 l engine · same as above, only 2005 · 2006 baby Enzo · folding rigid top, made from unobtainiam · future replacement burned up in fire -- back to the drawing board · won't be replaced until 575 is replaced · won't be replaced until the Maserati coupe and cab are replaced · 2007 because the waiting lists are so long · Allanlambo has infiltrated the design team -- 220 horsepower, drag coefficient of .41, three speed automatic
Maybe I'll replace it when (if) my car ever gets here. "It's on the boat", but I'm not the first to hear that. And it's Grigio Titanio. So is/was Brian's, I think.
Is and was... my Grigio Titano CS is "on the boat" also! (Hopefully that is not bad news for you. ) I suppose our cars went through the same paint run... should match perfectly! Of course, in the end my misfortune has some good points... I should have the new exhaust heat shielding and the newer brake setup... plus the 5-championship plate and the 50-years logo. OTOH, I could've been taking the CS to the track for the last six months... not much of a trade-off, I suppose.
Mine is a lesser Modena, so I don't get all the upgrades. Depending on which rumor you believe, it may be one of the last Modenas built.
I've yet to see a grigio titano with the stripe. This should be worth the wait although if it runs into this newer car it may mean getting whacked a little more. Good luck.
As if Ferrari worked to a schedule! <chuckle> Even if they did, they certainly wouldn't tell me what it was! Sometime in the next month or two. I hope!
Ha Ha, They are copying Corvette where GM leaked a photo of the C6 headlight before the car was released
