Hello people, Any of you have managed to install 360 seats in a 348? I got a nice deal on a pair of 360 seats, and wanted to install them in my 348. I have seen an example of 360 carbon seats installed in a 348: Carbon 360 Seats in 348 And also an example of 360 carbon seats in a F355: 360 seats in a 355?? Unfortunately, no luck finding examples of the normal 360 Modena seats. Any of you have done it? If so, would you mind sharing info/photos/tricks of the installation process, bracket fabrication, final results, etc? All input is welcome, as I want to collect different ideas and angles before I proceed Thanks a lot beforehand!
It looks as though you could well be the first person to do this swap. It would be nice if you took a lot of pictures and posted a how-to do-it-yourself of what you did.
Thanks for the replies! I fear the runners and bolt holes won't match I measured both quickly the other day, and runners from one seat (I think the 360) had more space between than runners from the other. Worst case scenario, adaptor plate will need to be fabricated. I will document the whole process and update this thread. At last, I'll be able to give something back to the forum, after consuming so much valuable information from you guys!
Thank you very much! Anyway... what's a thread without pics, right? Here are the actual seats Image Unavailable, Please Login
"Does this picture make my seat look fat?" But seriously, I'd love to see one of those side by side with a 348 chair.
Almost. 😜 I had a set sitting in a project car for a while. Never looked at what it would take to mount them though. These pictures give you an idea of size though. I personally think all the later cars seats are a bit too big for the little 348 and 355 to look just right. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

You guys are the best! Now there is proof that it can and has been done. Thanks a lot for the investigation work! So now I guess it's time for me to start working on this. I'll keep the thread updated!
Well there's proof that they fit in the car not that they can be safely mounted and/or retain functionality ;-) Image Unavailable, Please Login
