    Welcome to FChat.

If you fill out your profile you might get better response. Everyone here likes to know everyone.

You can never go wrong buying any 360, and with your weather you'd probably get more use from a coupe.

Jim Lyons, the person selling the car you like is a friend of mine, and he's very honest and straightforward. A few folks on this site have purchased from him with very good results. I highly recommend him.

I know a little bit about that car. It is a fantastic color combination. That Fiorano is an unusual color, and the vehicle looks like a decent car.

If you are dead set on a spider then a coupe will not do. But there is little not to like with the car you are sourcing. 360's with sunroofs are very rare.

The car appears to have the somewhat rare sunroof option so you would get a bit of the top off feeling.

While it's no substitute for a convertible, that car does have the rare F-car feature of a sunroof. The 2002 360 I just bought has one also. I haven't driven it yet with the roof out but I've taken it out once (the whole thing comes out and there's a very nice leather case for it which then attaches on the shelf behind the seats) and it does open up quite a bit of the roof. It's a nice comprimise for the "purists" who insist on the coupes over the Spiders... For whatever reason it's a rare (but not cheap) option.

I'm in the NY area also - PM me if you'd like. I probably can't be of any real help to you, but I'd do what I could...

The car looks good and the price is also decent. I personally like the coupe better than spider but its all your choice in the end.

That colour is a beauty, and i think the interior really goes well. Anyways, if it was me I would go for it.

Rare but not very desirable among enthusiasts and typically hurts resale.

I've wondered about this...why are the 360 coupes with sunroofs seen as less desirable?

While I understand that it's not ideal to have weight high up in a car, It is not a power roof, so I can't see it impacting the weight / handling characteristics of the car significantly...and I can't image that the structural rigidity has been compromised significantly, as I'm sure Ferrari only cut it out of an area where they wouldn't have to lose support..

and spiders sell well, so, why the anomaly with these sunroof cars?

i live in jersey and have a 360 coupe and love it... i really like the spider, however, i am not a fan of it with the top up. given our weather, you with either freeze your azz off or sweat like an animal with the top down...go coupe

Sunroofs are so "80's". I had one put in on my 1982 Buick Regal in High School and thought I was so cool...

    Tough decision.

I chose the coupe because in my mind the lines are beautiful and flowing. I also like the solidity of a coupe.

I have other car that are spyders so that may have tainted my thought process.

Either way whatever you chose you will have a great car.

    good luck to you.
